July 15th, 2011 – Friday Night @ The Black Swan Tavern

For a special one-night-only summer performance, Big Fog stunned the crowd with an incredible performance, featuring new tunes, classic tunes, and songs from their debut CD. If you missed this show, shame on you, because you’ll have to wait for the fall before they tour again…

March 17th, 2011 – St. Patrick’s Day Marathon @ The Madison Pub

This annual event continued with a stellar performance by the band, now featuring the dynamic fiddle playing of Steffy Miletic. The band performed rousing renditions of modern classics such as “Galway Girl” and “Home For A Rest”, both of which got the crowd up dancing and singing along.

December 4th, 2010 – CD Release Party @ McVeigh’s Irish Pub

The encore performance in support of the CD release for “Midnight Sun” was held at the famous McVeigh’s Irish Pub, which is verging on their 50th anniversary. The band performed selections from their CD to an excitable crowd or regulars and fans. By the end of the evening, everyone was dancing to the sounds of “Sunday Bloody Sunday” and other classic songs.

November 19th, 2010 – CD Release Party @ P.J. O’Brien’s Irish Pub

The first performance since releasing “Midnight Sun” was held at the famous P.J. O’Brien’s Irish Pub in the heart of Toronto’s downtown night life to a rambunctious crowd or regulars and fans. Performing three sets, including tracks from the CD and classic Celtic tunes as well as a few modern popular songs, the performance was well received by everyone.

March 6th, 2010 – Pre-St. Patrick’s Day Performance @ Ferret & Firkin Pub

The Ferret & Firkin Pub (Bloor & Spadina) has been a regular appearance for Big Fog since the early days, and we thank them for giving us the opportunity to play there for their customers and our friends. This annual performance usually happens the weekend before St. Patrick’s day, when we have a regular date at the Madison Ave. Pub – playing in front of 300 cheering students!

February 26th, 2010 – East Coast Connection @ John Labatt Room in Toronto

We were honoured to be invited to play the East Coast Army Kitchen Party this year. We had to navigate through a heavy snow storm to get there, but it was a blast, and the crowd was enthusiastic!

St. Patrick’s Day: Now an recurring annual event at the Madison Pub, Big Fog plays from 5pm until closing, with upwards of five full hours of live music, featuring set introductions with a bagpipe/drum walk-on in true celtic spirit. With a packed audience, there are sing-a-longs, dancing, and lots of drinking!

May 29, 2009: McVeigh’s New Windsor Tavern (Church St., S. of Queen St.)

A great success! Big Fog played in front of a packed house two nights in a row. Running through a more traditional set of Irish/Celtic tunes, dotted with a few modern folk/rock tunes to keep things fresh.
